"Release Identity" stands out as the free-wheeling dance track from the band's more introspective fourth record, Beacon. Vocalist Dia Luna sings “In the darkness, I lose my causes, release my losses—I am the darkness and the light.” Featuring the weaving guitar work of special guest Richard Reed Parry of Arcade Fire, "Release Identity" celebrates the joy of living and leaving fear behind in turbulent times. The video, directed by Jarred Alterman, plunges band members into a primeval forest as they escape their identities and embrace the unknown.
